We recently spent two days in Da Lat and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This vlog covers everything that we saw, ate. So sit back – its a long one! And enjoy!

To start off, we checked in to our accommodation that we booked on Airbnb – This accommodation is a hostel called Maple Hostel! The hostel is located in the centre of a valley overlooking one of the many green pine tree forests of Da Lat. Our favorite part about staying at this hostel was the peace and quiet, the sounds of birds and insects, beautiful butterflies flying around and the serene music being played at the restaurant downstairs. Iv

Not only does the hostel have private rooms, they have a cafe downstairs that serves breakfast, coffee and tea…and they hire out motorbikes too! We ordered a Honda Airblade and it was there within minutes.

As you saw, we started our Da Lat adventure at Datanla Waterfalls where we took a rollercoaster through the Pine tree forests down to Datanla Waterfall. It was an unforgettable experience and we highly recommend you do it when you’re in Da Lat!

Sadly, the rains started coming in for the weekend so we waited the rains out at a local Nem Noung restaurant called Nem Nuong Dung Loc where we had our first authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, and it was great! We then headed to the Da Lat Night Market around Nguyen Thi Minh Khai where we had our first Vietnamese pizza, Soy milks and Da Lat strawberries. The market has a lot to offer from winter clothing, to art, to fresh fruits, vegetables and food. A must-see in Da Lat.

The next day, we visited the Lam Vien Square and then headed to the Da Lat Railway Station where we saw beautiful old trains used before, during and after the Vietnamese War and still in-use to this day for short tourist trips. Da Lat Railway station is a great spot to take photos for instagram so be sure to check it out!

After the trains, we stopped at a cafe for lunch called La Chalet and got absolutely wet on the way as sadly the heavy rains set in for the weekend. La Chalet is right across the road from the Crazy House, which is also a tourist attraction in Da Lat that most people go to.

We planned to visit K’Ho Coffee plantation and village but the rains didn’t stop. One of the things Da Lat is most known for is its coffee plantations and exportation. Our last morning was spent at Xuan Huong coffee garden before we caught our bus back home to Nha Trang.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below and we’ll get back to you. If you have no questions, still leave a comment just to say hello! 🙂

  1. Hey every one! Welcome back to another video:)
We recently spent two days in Da Lat and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This vlog covers everything that we saw, ate. So sit back – its a long one! And enjoy!

Leave any comments down below, we are happy to answer any questions you may have! 😄

  2. Hi guys. I love the video and all the info you put in here. I was born in Da Nang but had been living in the US for a long time. Never been back! Love all the information as we are prepare to go back next year. I subscribed, so keep the good work.

  3. Dalats welcome everybody. If you come to Dalat, please call me to know more places to eat, have fun, hotel, homestay,… I really like making friends with people in the world. My facebook's Buu Tai Vo. Thanks.

  4. A great video! I think you should refer to places with famous good food before experiencing, because the street food in Vietnam is very diverse, there are many famous dishes but not every restaurant is delicious 😄

  5. My fiance lives on Condao Island, but she's originally from DaLat and just flew there today, January 12, 2020 , to spend a few weeks with her family. After seeing your video, i called her and told her that I'd like to spend a few weeks there in May when I go to Vietnam. Should be amazing

  6. If you will come back to Dalat next time . Let me know , I will take you to some other beautiful places in that town . I lived in DL since 2001 . BTW , have ever tried the Nem Nuong Ninh Hoa in Nha Trang ? It's much better than the one in DL

  7. You are correct . The da lat pan cake taste terrible, and it tastes bad all the same no matter where you are in ‘Nam. Just a bunch of junk inside a rice roll. It’s a new age snack that is popular with the young crowd.

  8. this is so helpful! I'm taking the same bus from Nha Trang to Dalat soon, booked through 12go as well 🙂 I'm excited to see how scenic the route looks!

  9. I'm in Vung Tau and Da lat is on my agenda but Vung Tau is hot and I don't have a jacket or socks, I'm 6ft and 200lbs, do they have Xlarge in Dalat, bought a XXlarge shirt in Vung Tau and can't even get it on, so, was wondering what size you wear, you "Columbia" jacket fits you well.

  10. Flippen Amazing guys. The opening is mind blowing and the music to the roller coaster is unreal. You get better every video. Keep them rolling
